This isn't just some other tutorial on c.to where the author posts it
without testing it, I personally use this method, and it works most of the time.
you have to be quick, not suspicious, and have good loitering skills.

Based off the post, guessing this is an IRL method of getting gift cards activated without paying for them somehow?

EDIT: honestly it's pretty straightforward, but it's a gamble in most areas. If you know a busy area where you can do this, it's damn good, but with most places, it's just down to luck and timing unfortunately.
