America has the least protections for it's regular citizens if you want to compare it to EU. EU life is much better and not so heavily in the favor of corporations.

I'd say Americans go to therapy more, because they have a far greater need, and have far greater access. It isn't a scam, they do help a large number of people all around the world.

It might help some people, just depends on the person and the issues they're having. Not something for me though. Just give me some fucking drugs and send me home.

From my experience, the main use of therapy is having someone to listen. A lot of people have nobody to vent to or open up to, especially about relationship issues. A therapist is like a prostitute for your emotions rather than your lust. It certainly can help with unloading some pent up emotion.

ye, going to a "professional therapist" is def inefficient imo, there's many simple changes that you could do by yourself that can change ur life.

Do people actually think that therapy helps and that therapy will change something?
It's literally the biggest scam there ever was.
I feel like only Americans fall for it, because in Europe it isn't really a thing, and going to a therapist would mean you are a crazy person over here.

Here in Europe people go to "psychologue" and to psychiatrists. But I've never seen any therapists. Maybe we have another word for it though.
