Was thinking about getting into bitcoin. I think I understand how it work, but was wondring- is it worth mining bitcoins? or will the cost of mining too high?

There is plenty of reasons to why bitcoin mining isn't worth it nowadays and plenty of different hardware configurations which make a significant difference because of the different computing speeds, also electricity costs relevant to where you live take effect in the process.

There's different calculators online which you can use and calculate the costs relevant to your specs and see if its really worth it for yourself but it 100% isn't if you don't have dedicated hardware for bitcoin mining.

If you're still thinking about it, you can better invest in cloud mining as you won't have to buy the hardware, tools, or even pay for electricity nether maintenance. Also, it is better to invest in mining new currencies since it can give you a better rate.
