Hi folks,
coming up with a thread here, cause I couldn't find anything related to my question.
Actually, I want to make an anonymous side income stream (without any tax stuff involved ) and without any boring real-world business software topics.
The latter being mentioned, I got plenty of years of experience with planning, developing, shipping and operating software products and build + led international teams.
If you read this, you may think "OK, but everybody can claim this here".
Exaaactly!
This is why I'm asking for advice.
How can I proof my skills in here?
Ofc, I could upload some sample projects on Github.
However, I'm afraid that this conflicts with my existing real-life profile, cause I don't know if Github scans profiles and gets my ass busted or so.
If that isn't an issue or if there are other git repo hosters, without any "rules" about "grey/black" software, I'm happy to use them instead.
Next thing:
What are good portfolio projects for this "grey/black" area?
Lastly, coming back to my skill set in terms of "hands-on" tech stuff:
- Languages: very familiar with Java (8+), TypeScript, Python ... love to do Python for all my activities here, but TS or Java are fine too
- Cloud: GCP, AWS
- Background: Backend Dev, ML, Web Scraping
I'm also willing to work on a component/module/service for free and get some vouches in return.
Thanks for any reply and answer here, which are contributing to my questions.
