Hey there,

this month we want to start working on new features and improvements for the current shoutbox. As some of you remember we considered a switch to a whole new shoutbox core, based on websockets. Those plans have been ditched and we are going to stay with the current shoutbox core. Not really ressource friendly, but it is what it is. With recent modifications it should be fine the way it is.

• What ideas do you got for the shoutbox?
  
• Which (new) features should be added, what are you missing?
  
• Is there anything that bothers you on the current shoutbox?
  

Use this thread to post all the idea that you got in mind and I will try to get the best and most usefull ones implemented for the next update.

An ignore command maybe?

So if someone is acting retarded in chat like @MeSvAk, you can simply /ignore and his messages won’t display for you hehe

Its just a random suggestion though, i’ll follow to keep updated on what all happens in the future ❤️

Mute already exists, just visit a profile and check top right corner in the title image. If you "mute" someone, his messages on the shoutbox will be highlighted that he is muted.

Here's a mobile bug that has been bothering me a lot:

This seems to have always been a problem for me on mobile cracked.to.

Every 12 messages are looped 10 times in the SB on mobile. I can clear my cookies and what-not, but it always just comes back very shortly.

There are the features I would like to see :

- Inverse message direction.
- View archives of the shoutbox since XX-XX-XXXX to XX-XX-XXXX.
- Top chatters statistics.
- Sound or Push notification when someone @ us or when a new thread was made.
