Hi guys, I've gotten pretty lucky. This is what happened:
I tried to SE an alienware laptop. They transferred to me ownership of it. For some reason, the real person returned the laptop back to alienware and for some reason I was the case owner. I asked if I could change the return address once I got the email saying that it arrived at the facility. They said sure and apparently the next day they told me that it was delivered back to the original house. They said it was an "error" and they are contacting fedex to pick up the old laptop and bring a new one. Fedex checked it and obviously they said it wasn't there. Dell said the only solution they have is to file a police report. I argued with them for about an hour. They are fucking annoying and keep forcing me to file a police report.
but, they told me "They only need it to escalate it and get more solutions". They said that THEY WONT do anything with it and they just need it to escalate it as a policy.
Do I file the police report? Or how do I bypass this?
