I have posted a shit ton of threads about this but since I didn't get an answer on any one of them, i have decided to detail a bit more.

the issue is - my rat isnt working, and i have tried on like 5 programs.

today im going to try building and sending a rat using Async rat and hopefully some1 can point out the mistakes since it just wont work.

first thing first, i go to the Mullvad vpn site and login with the acc i paid for, then i open a port choosing the city i will connect to with the vpn - which
in my case is Tel Aviv. (an Open Vpn port)

https://prnt.sc/1zvng34

After that, i connect to mullvad vpn, the Tel Aviv server ofc.

I set the vpn settings to tcp: https://prnt.sc/1zvnt0o,  https://prnt.sc/1zvnvc0

that the first step, i did everything correctly right??

now i reinstall AsyncRat cause the antivirus might have shat on it.

installed the latest release and extracted it, now its ready to use.

so now the port i should listen to is 58569, since thats the port i forwarded in mullvad.

https://prnt.sc/1zvo90v
.

ok, now i should enter all the details in async rat, and it should work perfectly, right?...

i enter the listening port here https://prnt.sc/1zvoc8t

now ill build the rat.

i enter the builder, enter the port, and i think i should enter the vpn ip im connected to? which is 185.191.207.212

https://prnt.sc/1zvogmj
.

https://prnt.sc/1zvok4f

now it should work right????

lets try.

first thing i noticed is it doesnt even run on my own device.. i open the builded file but no clients are detected..

next thing i did is used app.any.run which is basically a vm site, to test the AsyncClient rat, but it didnt do anything either...

https://prnt.sc/1zvoxu2
......

i am listening to the port and i did everything right... i dont understand why it wont work... does anyone have a solution?
maybe its some sort of a required file im missing??

https://prnt.sc/1zvp06u

This is a bump.  update - the rat did work for some reason, but only once.. when i tried using a port for a different country, but when i tried doing the same shit again it didnt work.
same thing for my friend who i gave my mullvad acc and guided him on how to use the rat.

hello , i haven't read the whole thread as its kinda messy and confusing but im here to suggest basic troubleshooting , try running the generated rat in a vm (dont forget to untick 'anti vm/sandbox' when building the rat if this is an existing option) , identify whether the issue is from the rat itself not launching or from the connection ,so have task manager ready inhand and keep an eye on the running softwares in "details" tab ; if the rat launches normally and is working fine then its probably caused by the connection settings , try setting-up no-ip by ceating an account and a hostname and installing DUC , have the ports opened on your router (both tcp and udp) , make sure you're using "line connection" (i've noticed that in some countries , using sim data doesnt allow for port forwarding , can be bypassed by using a vpn that offers port-forwarding) and thats it , hope this helps!
Hello, thanks for the reply, i didnt understand most of the stuff you typed, you can call me a beginner, but im pretty sure the anti vm box was ticked so ill try it again after unticking. although the rat wont work on my pc either,
why does that happen? . So after that you said i should check if the rat shows in the task manager when i run it, if it doesnt, what should i do? didnt really understand that part but when opening a port on mullvad.net, is there a chance im not actually port forwarding due to something with my router? btw after port forwarding i used the vpn itself ( mullvad vpn) and connected to the city where my port is or whatever.

Most of the time it is due to connection setting rat works fine
I had trouble with other rat but Async Rat is best
