There are loads of people posting content and contributing a lot to the forum posting maybe 100s of thousands of accounts but not having the contributor rank. These people clearly deserve the rank but because there are so many no ranks who just come and reply, take the shit and leave its nearly impossible for these people to get the ranks or awards they deserve
I've thought of a few solutions here they are:
Allow replies to go towards awards and ranks
This is just a solution I have thought of, it probably isn't one of the best ones due to it being highly exploitable and would probably lead to a high rise in the amount of people with contributor rank, however the one solution I could find to this was making the amount of replies needed considerably higher than the others meaning you would need A LOT of replies to be eligible. It would be as an alternative to likes but would still require you to meet the other requirements too.
Allow hidden content to be accessed by liking the post
This is also a solution with many flaws, however considering how fucking lazy these leechers are they would all want to click the like button and ez leech. It would allow people to get the awards they deserve but like before, it would lead to a high rise in the amount of contributors on the forum. I couldn't think of any kind of solution to this like with the previous one.
If you agree then reply to the thread or just like it. This gives staff an Idea on how wanted this feature is
