hi, I think that as a forum, everyone is trying to learn, and the main thing in learning is having access to information.
i see a lot of tools in Cracking Tools section like this one: here
and ngl i get curious, how does it work, how clean is the code, what can i learn from this code etc. in this case idc about selenium code but you get the idea.
if the OP isn't the creator of this tool, we should reinforce the fact that they should distribute the origin of the tool.
i understand that you don't like seeing users leave the site, especially going to competitors and browsing there, but you can make it a requirement for users to actually categorize if the app/source was found in Github/Gitlabs or competitive forum and the name of the user who has made it.
