hey, i decided to learn HTML first while starting to join the programming world

i've watched some tutorials n stuff but could someone help me with this pls?


the tutorials say that it's supposed to be like this, > 
open a new text document file > name it to index.html. so when u open it, it'll open on google chrome
google chrome is my default browser, help pls

you named a .txt as index.html, when you go to save, you need to name it index.html and change the file type from .txt to all files
