The blog post is starting to feel a little too long. If you're struggling to figure out how to start your blog post, try using the acronym COPY as your guide: C: Clarity O: Originality P: Personality Y: You Clarity First things first: there should be no question about what your post is about. Make sure it's clear from the title and the first sentence or two if and when you're going to get on topic, otherwise, you're going to lose your reader. Your introduction can help orient the reader, but it shouldn't be an entire paragraph of backstory before you ever tell them what the point of the post is. I need to get college essay topics to complete my work timely. The only exception to this rule? When it's part of your branding or tone. For example, if you routinely write posts that are between 1,500 and 2,000 words, readers will know that they're in for a longer read than normal whenever they see a post by you.
