Hello Everybody I'm New and Kind of Lost

I'm new here. I'm new to forums in general. I kinda want to know what this is all about. I wanted to upgrade since it seemed like the best option but I don't really understand what to do or anything. I'm just kind of lost to be honest. I made this account some time ago but I never really used it. I just kinda had it here because I was unsure of where to go from here. All this stuff seems cool but again I'm lost. Hopefully there's someone kind enough to guide me through all of this! Thanks and nice to meet everyone.
