I've always put together albums after going through a number of tracks I've already finished and choosing from them, never putting together a cohesive theme until afterward. I'm aware that there's no right or wrong way to do this, but I'm wondering if anyone here has dedicated full time to create a cohesive project. I use DAW's (Fl studio, Ableton, etc.) to create music and without instruments, it feels a bit limiting. The thematic approach seems like a lot of fun, but I just haven't had the time to do so until now. Anyone with tips/cool ideas on how they would create a project from scratch instead of my method would be appreciated :comfy:
