We are excited to introduce a new service: a complete solution (server + setup) for $150.

PrivateBin is an online service for secure note sharing that uses client-side encryption. This means all data is encrypted and decrypted directly in the user's browser using 256-bit AES encryption (Galois/Counter Mode), and the server only receives and stores the encrypted version of the data.
Ease of UsePrivateBin offers a minimalist interface and a simple procedure for creating notes. All you need to do is write or paste your text, after which the service generates a link to access the encrypted note.
PrivacySince the server does not process or access the "plain text" (unencrypted data), only those with the unique link can access the original information. Even in the event of a server breach or database leak, the contents of the notes remain inaccessible.
Security Guarantees
  • Data is stored on the server only in encrypted form.
  • Encryption and decryption occur entirely in the user's browser.
  • Additional protection options include password security and settings for one-time or time-limited access.
Safety Before the Note Is OpenedAs long as no one clicks on the generated link, the data cannot be decrypted because the key (part of the URL) is never transmitted anywhere.
Thus, PrivateBin allows you to securely share confidential information (text, code, passwords, etc.). However, as with any web service, complete security depends on trust in the server and the code being used.
