This is my first Non-LQ post in a bit, aside from accounts.

How do you get motivation personally? I know everyone has their different methods to getting this.
I'm not fat or chubby or anything, I'm exceptionally skinny. But i decided to start exercising a little while back, and got pretty good. Then i thought about it and asked myself why i even needed to do it, And i just stopped. And completely lost motivation.
There are many times in my life when I'll strive to do or accomplish something but i just completely lose motivation and it goes away.

So what are your methods of gaining motivation for whatever you want to accomplish in life?

Be yourself, you have to live up to the standards that others impose, you have a sparkle, but you may not know it, whatever you do, do it for yourself or for some reason, in case it will make you happy.  :pupper:

I have trouble to be motivated as well. But I found that its just a state of mind - so I basically started manipulating myself (which sounds wierd Ik)

For example:
I am in a decent shape so i dont see point to exercise much. So I look on the internet for a female exercise freak (facebook, insta etc.). Wow look how she is hot (if she didnt't overdone it to look like fuckin male). She wouldnt ever settle for a guy that's just in a decent shape. Start working again.
In May I had my finals for bachelor degree. "Ugh, I need to start studying hard. But there is time, sure". NO. Get in touch with my highly ambitious friend who study hard for getting on a prestige school afterwards. Bum. Am I not the same smart? C'mon. I will make respect of my peers (aim for chicks, really) and get the A's shit straight.

And so on, so on.
I'm motivating myself by fantasizing about it being means to different ends I really, really want (even if its really not what I want or care that much about).
