How do i go about cracking?

So i'm in need of some assistance. The title itself explains it but let me go into some more detail. I don't know how to actually crack and don't know what tools i do need to start cracking stuff. I'd like a little help on what kind of program i need for cracking of accounts and all of that. I'd like to thank you for your time.
