How does this Microsoft hack work?

I recently completely lost access to my Microsoft account 
A Discord user convinced me to "verify" with my Minecraft email and username in a server of his. After I clicked "submit" on this form, I instantly got security emails and my email got un-linked, password changed, etc. 
I temporarily got access back with the long form that Microsoft offers for when you forget your password, but the email had changed by then and they took it back, now the form doesn't even work anymore.

Does anybody know how this one works?

It's a Discord bot form, the server itself is not risky at all dw

It's flooded with dead accounts btw

Is there a way to hack the account back? Considering the fact that I know exactly what they knew when they hacked it (the new email address and the Minecraft username), I feel like it should be
