Most likely it will go away in 2 months from now and they will push the agenda again in early winter saying "oh noes corona is back and now its even more dangerous, but luckily we have a vaccine ready  ".

Virus stays for too long.   One person Infected = 10 person possible transmission Hence 10 person transmitted = infecting more  .
Same case : 1 person infected incubation period = max 14 days .. Then  IN EACH INTERVAL DURATION OF INFECTED TRANSMISSION it gets more days to show Hence Newly infected adds more incubation period and so on... Thus .  the virus can   stay longer..
