A few days ago, something happened that I thought was impossible. I was on my smartphone using Facebook Messenger, trying to contact a person who didn’t know me. This person knew nothing about me and had never been in contact with me, neither physically nor online. After about 5 minutes of chatting, I annoyed the person because I didn’t want to reveal my identity, so we ended the conversation. But just 2 minutes after we finished our discussion, I received an email saying that someone had logged into my Facebook account. Panicked, I quickly changed my password and logged out of all devices, but just 5 minutes later, he managed to get into my account again.
 
What surprises me about this whole situation is that i know that it’s not possible to hack a Facebook account that easily, at least not in this way. I know it wasn’t phishing, because that strategy takes some time to set up (since he had just gotten to know me), and besides, he wouldn’t have been able to hack my account multiple times in a row. I also know it wasn’t a case of hacking Facebook’s database, as that would be impossible for a giant like Facebook. So I concluded that this person never had access to my password to hack me because even after changing my password three times, he still managed to hack me again in record time. Do you have any idea how this hacker could have done it ? It’s really astonishing to me.
