Is it possible to install any Linux operating system on an XBox Series X/S?

It technically is possible to install Linux on an Xbox Series X/S, but it's not a straightforward/easy process. You would have to obviously bypass the Xbox's security measures and modify the entire system to allow the installation of a different operating system. So, unless you have a deep understanding of console modding or programming, I wouldn't even try messing with it. Unless you wanna brick your console and not be able to use it at all.

I have been able to in the past use a falcon xbox 360 running RGH 2 to install linux which worked. Granted it wasnt very good and could barely do anything. Doing something like this is definitely much more difficult because of how they locked down the security bypasses using hardware on the newer xbox's. You would definitely need to be running a hardware patch to be able to access the XEX files and root of their system to be able flash it correctly. However with the hardware modding people dont seem to be modding them at all because either they havent found a reliable way or its not possible.
