Keep track off traffic in my websites without logging IP's

hello everyone.

im planning to make a pasting website where i log 0 information, so unless the site turns into a honeypot nobody will ever get their IP or any other private information logged.

besides that, im not going to use cloudflare either (which is the biggest honeypot ever) 

i still want to keep track off my traffic, would logging only user agents be fine? its not that valueable off a information anyway, but i wouldn't know how it would work in using it to keep track of my pasting site. thanks :)

You can create a script that will replace the IP of a visitor with a random hash id generated by you (Which would not be in any way connected to the actual IP) and you can store that in logs to keep track of how many visitors your website is getting.

Sure I'll pm you on the forum since I really hate discord, It's mostly using watch to constantly watch the file along with some regex and scripting to replace all IP formats in your logs with a custom replacement using 'sed' for example and refresh the file. You could do it with crontab as well every say 5-10 to 30-60 minutes.
