Well, sometimes you may not expect getting killed and some may like to expect death (killing themself).
Though, I like surprises and would like being killed instead, just not in a gruesome way.

To be honest, if you are threatened to kill someone or yourself, there is many chances that you will eventually also be killed after killing someone
