The confirmed positive cases for coronavirus in Michigan has gone from 2 cases to 12 as of this Thursday evening. (Source)
Governor originally planned to have news conference at 10 pm EST but officials have moved it back to 11 pm EST. (Watch live here) I will post an update after Governor Whitemore has made a statement. Abed A. Ayoub says that it might be that all schools have to close (Abed Twttier post)

During the press conference Michigan governor told that all schools(private, boarding,and public) to close down for a full three weeks until April 5th.
