1). Alright so first you are gonna need a (service tag) MAKE SURE THE PRODUCT HAS WARRANTY
2).i prefer you get a service tag from a Alienware that was bought from Best Buy unregistered...meaning buying it without signing up for anything
3). Once you have any service tag unregistered go to https://www.dell.com/support/assets-tran...#/Identify ...that will register the product to your account.
4.) call dell
5.) to me the easiest to get is the Alienware moniter g sync
6.) tell them that the moniter has a dead pixel and they will get to it immediately
7.) they will want proof by picture and all you have to do is test their smartness by just adding a small little dot to the screen and it will work (MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT LOOK LOKE A CRACK JUST A LITTLE TINY ASS DOT)
8.) once they are convinced it’s a dead pixel they will want a picture of a paper with the back of the moniter where the service tag is...(I would use a photoshop to put the paper near the service tag and not make it look unusual)
9.the format of the paper is
1. Full name:
2. Phone number:
3. Email:
4. Address:
5. Time and date:
6.Case number:
