I love how active this site is but the actual discussions are kind of lacking outside of SB. There's some good stuff here and there in Lounge or Personal but it needs some help to really stimulate some interesting conversations. I'm fully aware the main purpose of this forum is extremely external-activity-centric (cracking/hacking) and therefore much more pragmatic than purely social, but it also appears, to my mind, anyway, that if there were some more options and maybe some more stimulating topics of discussion that might pick up a little bit.

And, truly, more legit posting is just never a bad thing. More posting = more SEO, by the way @staff.

I don't know, if there's not enough interest it's not worth trying to force it but I think it would not only liven up the less-active boards a bit but also just make for some more fun and more direct engagement between members that's not just spamming pepes in SB (which is also fun, but different.)

Just something to think about.

Well, I’m a big philosophy fan; I discuss philosophy whenever I can.
Without wanting to waste any unnecessary time, I think lounge is the best we have for that.
Reasons why lounge is the best for it:

• it its already there
  
• it was and still causally used for philosophy and mental health problems/needs
  
• There is not that much of a philosophy community here that we need another section for it
  

I respect your idea and like how you want to try new things, but there is no need for a new section.

I would prefer to keep cracked.io non-political and non-divisive. Just my 2¢.
