So recently, I've been seeing ads and threads on forums (not here on cracked, but other sites) about a new crypto called "Pi". People posting these threads talk about how you can mine it with your phone, and how after x amount of users join, mining rates will go down causing you to get rich quick. Don't buy into it, it's an obvious ponzi scheme. Now with "Pi Network", you're not investing any money, but to sign up it requires email and phone numbers, so I'm assuming they sell that data and that's how they make make their profits
