Recently got an Amazon Echo, Is there any cool nifty things i can do with it besides the basic commands, ergo like the Skill settings and Making my own,

If you have other smart home appliances such as a Nest Thermostat, Phillips Hue light bulbs, or other stuff, you can sync it and control the devices. At my home everything is automated with the Echo as my voice controlling hub. But other than that it's mainly used for those integrations or to play music.
