Currently, a design student who's majoring in the Marketing design aspect. My current laptop is about 2 years old, and this old junk has been acting up. Need a new one but too many out there. I saw a video from Linux regarding a laptop that's highly customizable (sort of), highly easy to fix, and has a good performance based on the parts n options you pick. Heard of frame.work? Yeah, those guys. I thought of getting a Macbook since its color gamut and whatnot is HIGHLY appreciated by designers, such as myself, but then again, I'm doing lots of post-production, lots of artboards, and materials on deck. Each artwork/design I do is heavily reliant on my CPU and Ram because Adobe is shit at optimizing it's usage LOL

Got a budget of about... 1.2k - 1.35k USD. Let me know!

Current Laptop: ASUS X560U (Gaming laptop design but more towards casual usage - the way it's being promoted)

Much love to Cracked. To community  DancingClown

Haven't heard of them until now, but I'm a guy who rather goes for a 'trusted' source. In this case proper, high-end MacBook, but they're quite expensive cause of the Apple brand

Have a look with Framework's laptop. If not, check LinuxTechTips. They even made a video and debunk how it works and actually assemble one themselves because the way Framework works is that you assemble your own laptop with the parts you choose during checkout and when it arrives you put them together while viewing the plan or the images printed on the laptop's body  Smart  By doing so, it made their laptop much more easier to repair + high performance since you're picking the parts yourself etc
