I created a simple tool to download free proxies from Proxyscrape.
https://proxyscrape.com/

All you have to do is run the file and it will download 3 types of proxies. Http, Socks4, and Socks5.

These will all be downloaded into separate files named accordingly. 

Anytime you get a dead proxy, just run the program again and it will replace your old proxies with new ones.

For the more advanced / lazy user. You can schedule this program to run on an interval so you never have to worry about scraping proxies again.
