I worked in the PayPal security team, and I will give you advice to have no worries with PayPal
(Sorry for any English mistakes I am French.)
0 - Create your account
As soon as you create your account, we assign a score if your score drops below point levels, you will have more and more restrictions.
- To create your account, you must RESET your cookies.
- The more your IP address will be used on PayPal accounts, the less score you will have
- The more your phone number will be used on PayPal accounts, the lower your score
- You must not have in your email + (like [email protected])
If you follow all of its rules your account will score 100.
1 - Keep score
If you have 100 of score, you will have problems on your PayPal, payments will still be pending (except those in friends under 10 €)
- Perform 10 transaction (s) without any problem (no dispute, no complaint, no return).
- Maintain your PayPal account in good standing for at least 60 day (s).
If you do both of these things and have validated a bank card / bank account you will (normally) have no worries unless you pass excessively high payment thresholds
2 - Off Topic but good to know
- You must spend the most time on mobile (even if possible create the account on it).
- If you have an error when you register your bank account and create a support ticket they will tell you to retry in 3 days after that do not connect for 4/5 days before re-making your request.
- Identity checks are possible with bypass, we had already succeeded, the identity card according to your score is verified by a bot (even an old photoshop stuff work) or with a bad score everything is verified by a human and for the identity card often from banks.
