anybody messing around with 2024 yet? have never had any trouble in past years. started experimenting with 2024 using instructions in post 1 and post 1969 and post 2005. unfortunately when i go to "states" i get the activation prompt. anybody else having success with 2024?

Guys, i have 2 states to return and follow the steps you mentioned but couldn't download the NJ form.

Could anyone give me 2024 NJ form?

Nov 2022: NOTE: TT2022 Has been released. This version is TT2021. Please wait a month or so for it to be uploaded to this forum.

The wait is over! First off, someone here has my name from other forums and my ipt account got deleted due to inactivity. I have incremented to the (worse) RX8. Still rotary powered though. I have been a cracker for over a decade but have decided to bring this tax software with instructions to all - especially since TT no longer has a fully free version. Sharing the love! Please +rep. 

Hidden section has vanilla ISO rip and manual crack instructions. For full disclosure, I have gotten this to a point of working but haven't gone through the full filing process. I will update the hidden section as I learn more if there are filing issues that need more code work. PM me only if you have different version you'd like me to look at or if file needs reupload or if there are additional activation issues preventing use of program - please provide full instruction to reproduce where you're at. Most other requests will be ignored.

This portion of the instructions, specifically, in post 1969 has some issue with v2024:

11. Back in Assembly Explorer, scroll down to the next section of blue-green items and
expand the following:
-Click on “EntitlementService” (blue-green)

12. Find the red-orange item called “GetAvailableFreeStates”, right click on it and
choose "Edit Method (C#)…". Do NOT choose “Edit Class (C#)…”.  

13. In the “Edit Code” window, find line 20 and change it from "return 0;" to
"return 10;" (don’t forget the semi-colon). This will allow 10 state downloads.

14. Click "Compile" and the window will close.

When you change "return 0;" to something else as instructed, you get the following error in dnSpy:

CS0535: 'EntitlementService' does not implement interface member 'IEntitlementService.OfferPhonePurchase(CommerceContent)'

Following that error, you cannot "compile" the code, only cancel.

This is likely why people are having an issue with states not working......

I don't have this error, compile successful, save module successful as well.

Also worth noting - If I skip that step (and the other steps related to state activation) and just do the product activation steps, the program doesn't even open. Just the quick splash screen and then it immediately closes - no errors. Resorting the DLL to the original and then the product opens once again.
