add an award give to people who report maybe 100 posts ig that end up getting taken down this way 
1. more users will reports spam/malware 
2. more award

Why not just make rules for reporting a post so that it cannot be abused? 
Staff could set like a 1 week ban or some other punishment to stop abuse (just a suggestion)

Okay, all stupidity aside - Psycho pretty much has the right idea.
Too many people would abuse it, and staff would be more overwhelmed than they already are.
If you think reports or scam reports or whatever take a long time to deal with, incentivizing plebs to report everything would at least double the times on staff support.
Unless they were to assign a staff member or two to deal strictly with reported posts .. in which case it could work, but its unnecessary and then on top of that if they were to add another layer on top where they then had to review reports to see if a user was abusing the report system for the reward ... that just adds a second unnecessary step to staff workload.
What is more likely is they will SELL you a 'Reported Posts' award, and then you can just have it without all of that extra staff effort

Some users are already reporting 2 year old and dead stuff just to boost their report stats. So no to both.

hmm yeah didnt really think abt that tbh idk i just know alot of users who clikc on spam posts just click of them as that way they waste less time idk fair enough ig
