Ah you are talking about those numbers. Posts per day are not really relevant, nor do they define the overall activity of a forum.
Here are a few changes from august that resulted in a slight decrease of daily posts:
banned a lot of temp mail providers for registrations -> less leecher registrations -> less posts
reduced the number of daily posts a member can do from 15 to 13 -> around 2 posts less per day for leechers -> 2k members a day that can make 2 posts less. Lets say an average of 10% of those 2k, 200, are trying to use the full amount of daily posts. 200*2 posts less a day = -400 posts per day in total
August had some peaks in terms of google visitors for celebrity nudes (I forgot the name of her), the hype for that kind of keyword is gone -> less registrations and posts
last sunday we still had 19k posts. I thought activity is down?
things that always need to be considered for numbers are: holiday time, day in a week, special occasions (certain DB leaks, tools, nudes, etc)
As you can see you should not focus too much on those basic numbers. You need to go beyond that to understand community economics and statistics. Don't just judge by basic numbers.
Moderators, whether they are new or not, have to follow basic internal guidelines and let me tell you: those haven't been changed over the last 6 months.
If you want to judge or critizie, then do it at least correctly and consider all necessary factors.
Yea, i checked the statistics and the member registration and threads activity haven't changed, but posts activity have dropped.
Also, as i mentioned in my thread, the activity in threads has changed, like when i posted something 6 months ago, I'd receive guys in my thread in less than 10 seconds, and +10 visitors in my thread.
Now if i post same thread, i'll get barely 1 visitor in 10 seconds, and that's what is weird about this, i see there were changes this month, especially members who got banned by using temp emails, and the daily post limit, but still, the fact that members are getting banned its valid, and the reason of that is because some members are reporting 5posts leechers just to be #1 in stats, which really sucks, and i think only big leechers should be reported, and low posts leechers have still time to show their selfs up.
Also, i've checked everything that i could from my side, and I've analyzed these things, also asked others about what they think, and thats why i made the thread, to get everyone's opinion on this.
Obv, i am not here to argue or something, i am suggesting my ideas, and looking for answers/responds to what i think.
I can see both "sides" to OP's statement. Hwvr - I'd tend to lean on the side where actions = consequences = reforming. Maybe because I'm relatively new and such, that I don't fully grasp the leecher mentality, but I'm pretty certain when you choose to type... "AhggggggSDKGJfffff43523ergsAEIORGA44yggffd3 "
vs
(a much much shorter, AND effective) "Hey thanks for ...."
..that your'e not really interested in learning anything, only lazy mooching.

I really appreciate this. It's like I want contribute here without being suspected of anything. And I want to learn, being new to this all.
Thanks
Yea, that is what I am trying to say, you should learn that just getting free stuff it's not the right way, you should also learn to contribute, but u shouldn't be banned permanently for that, only if you keep doing that constantly without even taking anything into consideration.

Yea, I know what you mean by that, but most of these guys with these names (5jgjkgjkjk5t98i5) are multi's of someones else who got banned for leeching.
Also yes, these guys should be banned, but most of the leechers use cool names and not just spam names, but thats not the thing after all, since even spam usernames can change, they're peoples like us after all and not just get banned and end their journey there.

They only get banned for a few days though, so they've been given a second chance.
If they continue to "leech" then it is their own fault since they've been warned.
