i found this funny :)  i am a leecher,  i'm here to download  thing i am interested to my self, i dont  repost to  any other forum, accept... saved  my own  hard drive  that have TB's  of data that's i am interested in.   i'm sure you are leecher yourself right now too, not everything you post came from your brains  lol, you read it some where and you reup on this forum. You leeching from other forum  to post it here and claim "CONTRIBUTION" when that thread is not even yours... so what make you are different and better than anyone else?   go head ban me just like 1 of the mod here said, it's take seconds.. , why i don't share my TB's OF DATA??   i KEEP GETTING BANNED, so i got tired of BEING GOOD GUY, i know it's only took me about 1 mins to create new account anyway so...... it's pointless.. to BAN ... i think i got banned atleast 100+ account and still counting. lol

i used to have main account before got banned i had few thread that 200+ reply guess how many likes i got? 25 something .........................  some thread 200+  reply  got even less than 20 likes lol

Yes, they are the future, they keep the forum sections, and threads alive. Alot of them are getting permamently banned lately, my motivation to contribute is gone long ago.

I am a leecher in nature because I believe content on the internet should be shared. Of course I understands that if everyone would just pirate, nothing would be done and creators mostly wouldnt bother (without likes, thanks, money) to create/share more stuff - so I am trying to fund and help those I found worthy of my money. Specially those smaller crowdfunding artist and such, although I am kinda broke atm. But thats kinda off-topic.

I completelly agree that massbanning left and right is wrong. You never know who can evolve to become valued member later.
I am a new guy here too and I have "give sth back" in mind at all times. Half of the stuff how the system on cracked.to works is still fuzzy for me.

At the same time though, I see people creating more and more accounts just for leeching, giving nothing back - no rep, no like  - just cheesy replies. I DONT MIND IT MYSELF AT ALL but I see why there are strict ban policies applied.

So in conclusion, I think maybe there should be given more leniency where its valid (member who actually posted sth) and perma bans should be really a last resort measure. Yet aren't those permas already a last resort thing?

Lately, staff is mass banning members, like wtf, i see a lot of my friends got banned from things that aren't really worth it for a permanent ban.

Also, comparing the activity in my threads, the old ones, and the new ones, it really has a big difference, i used to get guys in my threads seconds after i posted it, and now? you barely get any in 10 minutes, it really sucks.

Everyone here knows that leechers keep the activity here, it doesn't matter how many, leechers play an important role here, the leecher that you won't ban might be one of our HQest members in future.

I used to be a leecher too, if you would ban me at that time, i wouldn't be here, and i wouldn't have contributed here, you should learn how to teach leechers, and not ban them because the activity its really dropping.

I know there are a lot of HQ contributors, who post daily, but none of us actually gets the likes/attention they deserve, because there are no more members who post here.

One thing that is really going down here is that some members, are reporting leechers randomly like they report random leechers just so they can be #1 in stats and get an award, that is not right at all, you should really fix this and give warning to guys who mass-report leechers, thats not right, banning a leecher who has just started here and having like 20 leeched posts isn't a big thing at all, he might soon realise that he should contribute, or with a simple warning, learn his lesson.

I've already been T-Mod and i really know that leechers can change, I have warned a lot of members, and 99% of them have messaged me telling me they are sorry and will change the way they are leeching, which in future they'll make the forum really rich with content.

I hope you take this as advice and not as complain, im just telling you that with the current amount of members we are having right now, the attention to the threads it's really low!

I feel the same. I mean, some of us are new and still learning stuff. What lead you here was probably curiosity in a first place but then again, you should have more time to interact within the group, relate and know what to share/contribute. Otherwise you would end up copying someone else posts just to ''survive'' the ban and then the quality of the group falls.

Seems like if the point is for people to learn...why not have the guides/tutorials sections not count towards leeching status?  I'm new and considered a leecher but it's not like I want to be.  I'm actively trying to learn from c.to and other forums/sites as well.  When I tried posting something I thought would actually be helpful to others in the "cracking tools" forum it got rejected for an unknown reason.  Tried responding in a discussion and immediately afterwards got the 50% warning.  So it's easy to leech and ultimately get banned for it, but try to contribute something and get rejected for trying to share?  WTF?  I don't want to be one of those assholes that starts one of the "what's your favorite <bullshit topic>?" thread in a discussion forum just so I don't get flagged as not contributing.
