Amount or Item(s) Scammed: XMR 0.07 (approx $10)
Screenshots of Communication: none, communication was by telegram and Mathersslim blocked/deleted all messages when he no longer wished to communicate
Additional Information:
I contacted him via telegram in response to his post in my thread
I asked how much an account would be and he stated $9.99
I asked if he takes XMR and he said yes
I asked for the XMR address to send to and he provided it
I asked for the amount to send in XMR and he said 0.07 (~$11)
I send the 0.07 XMR
He then said that the cost was $99.99 and I needed to send 0.7 XMR, so now I needed to send 0.63 XMR more
I pointed out that it is unlikely he made a typo twice (both in $9.99 and 0.07) and that after this I no longer wanted to do business with him, and provided an XMR address for a refund, stating that I understand if he subtracts his transaction fee from the refund in case this is a mistake
He then deleted all our messages/blocked me
This is an incredibly small scam but a surprising one from someone who seems to be trying to develop a business on the site
