But does this only work on accounts with "less secure" access enabled (it's an option in the Gmail account settings, to allow for older mail clients or devices [like scanners] to be able to connect to the account)? I thought you had to turn that on, or otherwise flip some switch in your settings, to be able to connect via POP3....
