How is it when you distribute viruses on e.g. youtube, what about being tracked e.g. by ip?

Yeah maybe by YouTube,Police etc...
YouTube logs IPs and so (likely) does your file hosting service. If a judge signs a warrant, YouTube and all parties involved will hand over every possible bit of data to LE.
That is unlikely to happen with a skidded RAT though.
