Where/how to host the game:
In FACEIT, they have a HUB which you can create for free and we join it, also you can make it so everyone HAS to use the FACEIT anti-cheat to play the games. (free)

How to monitor the game:
If a team thinks another team cheated, you can simply dispute it by reporting it to an admin and the admins [chosen by the community or staff team of c.io (preferably people with over 5k hours)] will download the game and come to a verdict.

Game modes:
Competitive 5v5 (either the default: 16 rounds or the short one: I believe 9 rounds)

Amount of players per group / of rounds:
As stated above, 5v5 with either 16 rounds or 9 rounds (depends on how long you want the tournament to be)

Lasting of the event:
Until everyone is out. The FACEIT HUB makes the brackets and updates it automatically.

Dear Community,

Since the staff team is relatively inexperienced when it comes to hosting CS:GO events, we're once again asking for your opinion.
If you have experience, you already participated in one or, even better, you hosted an event before (and it was successful), please share some ideas on how to manage the upcoming event.

— Where/how to host the game
— How to monitor the game
— Game modes
— Amount of players per group / of rounds
— Lasting of the event

Sincerely

The staff team  PepeGlad

— Where/how to host the game -> you can to PUG's, in popflash but there isn't a ''good'' anticheat and those plebs will most likely cheat. so if you can host the games on faceit that would be the best. players would have to install the anticheat and run it before launching the game.

— How to monitor the game -> you'll pretty much be the hoster/owner of the game so you can just join the game and simply be a spectator.

— Game modes - definitely go for competitive, it's 16 rounds total, first to 16 wins. a round is usually like 3mins. and obviously every 8 rounds there's the team switch.

— Amount of players per group / of rounds -> in a team there can max be 5 players. so 5 vs 5 it will be. i suggest you make a bracket, everyone should come with a team, they should make their own team and submit it to you the staff, (probs would be nice to make a google form, in which you ask the players name, and levels and if they have played before, just so you can choose who vs who plays against. (in that way it would be most fair for everybody) after you've got ur teams you can organize the brackets here: https://challonge.com/tournament/bracket_generator to see which team moves to the semi final or final and so on

— Lasting of the event depends on the teams a match can be around 30-50minutes, so if you want to make Bo3 ( best of three ) for each game you can figure it out. it's gonna take quite some time. maybe just make the first games today, then sort it out for the semi finals tmorrow and another day the big final .

been an semi pro in cs:go played for quite a few teams 3 years ago i had to stop due to studying. hehe this info i wrote here brang back quite some memories cry ... good times.
