Describe your issue with your Headset try to be a bit creative and elaborate on it don’t just say things like “Headset stopped working” or “Mic not working” it will seem disingenuous. Make it seem real and mention how you’ve been using it and how much you enjoy the product but are just having this issue with it.
Be nice towards the support don’t just be blunt and dry. It’s always good to start by saying things like “Thanks for helping me” or “Dear/Hi [Support Name] hope you are well” and always end your emails with a “thank you” or “kind regards”.
They will start by helping you with troubleshooting steps just say you followed them but say that they aren’t working. Obviously give it a couple of hours, don’t reply straight away as that will make it seem like you’re not actually trying it. Ask them if there are any other things you can try to fix this issue. They will continue sending you troubleshooting steps until it gets to the RMA process.
STEP 2
Once they start the warranty process, they will require the following from you:
(Do not send these until they ask for it)
- Proof of purchase
DO NOT USE AMAZON RECEIPT UNLESS YOU BOUGHT IT LEGITEMATELY.
They 100% check Amazon receipts so don’t fake those.
There is plenty of Receipt generators you can find on here or get someone with Photoshop skills to do it for you.
DO NOT USE MOBILE SCREENSHOTS
Browser screenshots are fine just make sure they can actually see you’ve taken it on a computer.
Physical receipts are the best to use but also harder to get.
- Serial Number
- Photos of the Headset
- Your Details e.g Full Name and Address
Keep in mind that you can only order the replacement to the name and address that you provide to them it cannot be changed later on.
If you are lucky they will issue you the replacement code at this stage, if that’s the case then congrats you just did it!
If you are unlucky they might ask for a video of the product and a close up of the serial. Again I provide a service for this and can do videos for you if you need them.
STEP 3
In the next step they will ask you to destroy the headset and take pictures of it. Their instructions are always different and they come with a unique QR code. They need a picture of the front, right, left and another picture of the serial.
Sometimes they might ask you to send a video of the destroyed headset with the QR code and the serial number for further verification.
Again I provide these photos of destructions and videos with the specific instructions they give you including the QR code so if you can’t do those yourself checkout my thread for that.
STEP 4
Once you submitted it you’ll have to wait and if they approve your RMA process you’ll get your RMA code within 2 days which you can use to replace your headset.
CONGRATS! You just got a 300€ for under 50€! You can either keep or resell now enjoy
