As much as I would enjoy this feature as a new member, it would only lead to one of two things. An increase of leaching, and then in response, the thread creators would disable likes on their threads, leading us back to where we are now. 

If you're worried about being seen as a Leech, and you can't contribute, post more in non-leak forums. It's that simple.
