I've heard from a person that I can login from gampass account, install the game, then logout and login from another xbox id and it'll still work. He also said multiple people can play on same game at the same time.

If it is actually possible, wont microsoft just shut it down? Can't people just abuse it?

Edit: I tried it, and it works with other accounts. Thanks to all the replies below.

The account that has an active subscription is account A, and the newly created account that doesn't have an active subscription is account B, it will be easer to explain this exploit that way. Microsoft Store is the main storefront and Xbox Game Pass PC app is just a launcher, it is technically not an exploit because you still need to log into Microsoft Store with your account A in order to be able to use the service in the first place, and should anything happen to that account or your subscription, you would lose the access to the service right away. Your account B doesn't have all the benefits of the subscription in case you didn't know, you can't redeem the perks that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers get, you can't use xCloud, only your account A is capable of doing that, so it is not an exploit in a traditional exploit in this sense, it is more like a way for you to share the subscription with other people, but your account A has to be constantly maintained and it needs to have an active subscription. I personally don't think that Microsoft will be doing anything against this "exploit", because they aren't really losing anything, maybe in their eyes it's better for people to access their games on PC that way rather than through qBittorrent.

I bought once a Microsoft account with Game Pass subscription for 0.5$ bc I wanted to play FH4.
Every hour, the game crashed and I didn't solved the problem so I just left it there.

After I had Game Pass on my 100% personal account, that problem was gone.
Probably that's how Microsoft tries to stop those who try using someone else's account.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
