There is more benefit to preventing leechers from joining than letting them join and win prices that they don't deserve.

Giveaways are made by HQ members in order to please and thank other HQ members of the forum (when i say HQ members i say people who are active and contributes). All this in order to maintain a close-knit and friendly community, I don't see how involving the cancers of the forum (leechers) can maintain the friendly links and the positivity of the community.

I admit that giveaway hosters don't care about who wins, but let be honnest if leechers don't event like a thread do you really think they will go to your profile and +1 you (most of them doesnt even know that there is a rep system, they only know how to reply to a thread and create another account if they get banned).
