So, what is everyone's opinion on self-driving cars, is it the way of the future or is it just laziness? does it take the fun from being able to travel to places?

I wonder about self-driving cars and accidents.  Let's say someone driving in a car normally is in an accident with a self-driving vehicle.   Is the self-driving vehicle ever at fault?  Or is it presumed that it can't do the wrong thing?

They feel nice for long multiple hour drives and can increase safety. Still think its pretty lazy for shorter things like driving to the city. Also feel like as with other things, technology gets better but security is far far back.

Then you have issues where the car has to decide between hitting a person and killing them, or turning to the side and killing the driver.
