Aww, how sweet is this! I think it was a very emotional moment for you but also for her. I remember the time when I was a foster parent of a 7-year-old boy. It was very difficult for us when it came time to break up because he already had an adoptive family. The good thing is that he never forgets about us and even lives nearby. I am thinking of repeating this experience, and thanks to oregon local fostering agencies, this has become very simple and even a pleasure.
