This forum is giant pile of rats/malware, wtf are mods doing?

I've been reporting malwares for a while, unfortunately today was the ransomware day for the Cracking Tools sub.
The worse part is most of the malwares are public trash and reverse engineering isn't even needed to detect them.
Basic static and dynamic malware analysis are enough, even just looking at VirusTotal's behavior for executables is enough most of the times.

make something like Peoples need be ranked/100 likes to post threads in that category or something, I think that would help a lot.

make something like Peoples need be ranked/100 likes to post threads in that category or something, I think that would help a lot.

They would just change sub and spread more stealers to take control of accounts with a higher post count.

This thread deserves a bump, malwares are a major problem and subs like Cracking Tools are overwhelmed by ransomwares and rats.

I do not believe new people should be prevented from sharing tools.
That is how I began my journey on c.to by posting hq tools I have coded and now I am a coder here and I believe more people like me exist here and preventing them from posting tools if they dont have a lot of reputation may drive such people away from this forum.

Who cares if they posted them elsewhere? That's where mods need to step in and issue warnings/bans. To add to that, knowing they posted software elsewhere to bypass the 100 post minimum rule, you then have to accept self responsibility accepting that risk to download to begin with. At the end of the day, don't trust any program with the possible exception being by a known contributor/staff. Use a sandbox program or VM.


This is not saying I even agree with the 100 post minimum rule, however.
