So many people here, including me, though that HTML is easy, well, it isn't.

It easy to learn the elements and their purpose, yes, but that does not mean it is easy.

Let me just ask you, do you know the alphabet? You surely do, why dont you write a book then?

The same goes for HTML, you know the elements, but why dont you develop a social media website? Why dont you start a business out of it? Why dont you start a big project?

You might say 'it requires ideas, skills, experience, time...' and that's the answer, we all know acquiring them is not as easy.

Yes, if you want to keep it between you & your family obviously. Otherwise, if you want to publish it, you would need to put some good content in there, otherwise, none would buy that book.

Same goes for HTML, I can write a page containing 1 million letters, in <p> element, it requires time only. But what exactly am I gonna do with it? Its not that I'm creating a social media page like that.

Well I learnt html in 2h and I made some cool shit with it so I think I have the right to say that it's easy.

Also your comparison made me facepalm so hard since books require more effort while a fucking page requires a basic perspective of what you want, notepad and 10 minutes of time and can be easily created with just basic knowledge of words (you don't even need to make sentences honestly if you don't want to). Also if you get stuck a simple google search gives you the exact answer.

As for a book it takes more than knowing the alphabet exactly like you said! Why are you even comparing it to html when it doesn't make sense.
