People can find it challenging to get serial numbers, pictures and videos when they are doing our NMR methods.
It's all about showing interest in the product the seller is selling
BEING KIND
When dealing with the seller, it's best to be kind. Not all sellers are pleasant and unwilling to share their serial number, as they already know what can be done with it..
It is very good to discuss price and when it can be picked up before asking for the serial number - no seller wants to deal with a difficult buyer. I highly recommend people do this.
WARRANTY CHECK
Don't ask a seller " Can you send me a picture of the serial number?". If the seller responds with a yes, his serial number is most likely already taken, as he doesn't give a damn. Tell him the following:
" Those pictures look great, and the product is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm buying it for my son, who has been experiencing electronics getting destroyed by "Itself" a lot recently.
Ideally, we would like to find out if the product comes with a warranty before picking it up. Is it possible to get a picture of the serial number, so we can find out? "
It's also possible to play the victim card and claim to have been scammed by a seller who was selling the same exact product and it turned out to be a copy.
MAKE A SELLER FILM A VIDEO
Being scared of getting scammed is the easiest way to get a video of a seller.
Tell him if he can 'confirm' his ownership by filming all sides of the product, filming the serial number, showing the thumbs up in the end. It's very efficient, ever since I began getting into No money Required methods.
