The more people see it on TV and the more they realise how much money is in it...things wil start to change. In 20 years time careers advisors in school will probably be encouraging kids to become pro gamers I just wish it was that was when I was at school! But yeah....I would be pretty happy if i was that kid right now!! I'd 100% be buying a hooverboard and gold statue of myself..

A US teenager has won a record-breaking $3m (£2.4m) to become world champion of the computer game Fortnite.

It is the largest prize pool in the history of e-sports, with $30m shared amongst the winners.

Kyle Giersdorf, 16, won the solo event of the competition in the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, which hosts the US Open tennis tournament.

Jaden Ashman - a 15-year-old from Hornchurch, London - won almost £1m for coming second in the duos event.

And another British teenager - 14-year-old Kyle "Mongraal" Jackson from Sidcup, Kent - also walked away with a major prize.

I have watched a couple videos regarding this and I see 'older' people complaining about that it is not a real job and that it is ridiculous how much money gamers can earn with eSports. What is your view on it?

I wish I had kept playing but there were no real esports at that time. Only koreans playing startcraft for money basically.
