VMware alternative? (not virtualbox)

i need a very very light vm program
i know vmware is depending on read/write of my disk when launching vms but its pretty heavy

why would i buy one when i only need like 10 vms, not running, but suspended on a software

Have you tried Hyper-V? Also, maybe consider upgrading your parts if you can't run well on Virtualbox/VMware. VMware itself is not that heavy my guy.

Yeah, my trials to enable it failed. I tried once and it still didn't want to launch VMs. I want to use the virtualization in VM settings maybe I get real performance out of my PC. If you could link me a tutorial on how to fully activate it, that would be great.

Some things you should know, you need at least Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise to use it, I should've probably mentioned that.

I don't use Hyper-V myself, but here's a video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3I64TeJ4iNI

It shows how you can upgrade from Home to be able to use it, how you use it, etc. Good luck
