Weird Profile Picture Compression?

So basically after a few days, my profile picture looks like this:

I know that there is always a slight compression to save memory or smt,
but this is kinda annoying since It never happend before with every Pic,
I ever had.

It's the normal profile size supported here 150x150, and the max size is 500KB
However the compression method that was used on your picture, that I don't know

I'm aware of that yeah. usually the pictures look normal but these seem like they might have been
over compressed due to the noise in the picture. still doesn't make sense how the picture is not
compressed for multiple days/months and then suddenly changes to that pixel warground
